Vivastations Vivastations are modern and safe. Every vivastation has fare vending and validating machines that allow you to purchase or validate tickets before boarding. Vivastations have electronic displays indicating when the next vehicle will arrive. They are also equipped with security cameras for added safety and security.
Transit stops There are over 4,500 bus stops across York Region.
All YRT/Viva stops are clearly marked with a bus stop sign
that includes a bus stop number.
Street furniture YRT/Viva street furniture includes the following amenities:
transit shelters, benches, bike racks, waste/recycling receptacles, multi-publication units, newspaper box
organizers, schedule display cases and community
information kiosks.

Bike 'n' Bus on YRT Since June 2010, customers have enjoyed using bicycle
racks on the front of YRT buses. Each rack holds up to two
bikes and is designed for easy loading and unloading. The
Bike 'n' Bus program lets you pay your regular fare but your
bike rides for free.
