Ride to GO

You can get to and from GO Train Stations without the hassles of driving or parking for just 75¢. This service is available on YRT/Viva, YRT GO Shuttle services and contracted TTC routes in York Region. You must have valid prepaid GO fare media in addition to your 75¢.

How to GO for 75¢:

Just drop in the exact change (75¢) into the fare box when you board a YRT or contracted TTC in York Region vehicle travelling to/from your GO Train Station. Or buy a Ride to GO fare from oneRide and multiRide fare machines - it's valid on both YRT and Viva. (YRT and contracted TTC buses at GO stations will accept your single-ride GO ticket only if you are leaving a GO Train station.)

This 75¢ fare also lets you ride YRT's GO Shuttle services to many GO Train Stations. YRT GO Shuttles always arrive at the station early and shuttles leaving GO Train Stations will actually wait for your train to come in so you'll never miss your connection.

Along with your 75¢ fare, you will need to show a valid GO Transit ticket or pass to your YRT or contracted TTC in York Region driver. If you are using Viva, you must be able to present valid GO Transit tickets/passes to Transit Enforcement officers upon request.

Here are a few more things to keep in mind:

When travelling to a GO Train Station, single-Ride, two-Ride and 10-Ride GO tickets must have at least one "un-cancelled" ride remaining.
When boarding at a GO Train station, single-Ride, two-Ride and 10-Ride GO tickets must show the current date/time cancellation from the connecting GO Train or Bus trip.
Be certain that one of the GO fare zone numbers indicates the appropriate connecting stations.
GO Transit group passes and employee passes cannot be used with the 75¢ to GO fare.
YRT and contracted TTC buses at GO stations will accept your single-ride GO ticket only if you are leaving a GO Train station.
