York Region vaccination clinics are located along main transit routes and in different areas of York Region to best serve residents. YRT has various options to help take you there.

Eligible York Region residents can now book an appointment for their vaccination by visiting York Region's website on COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics. Vaccines are available by APPOINTMENT ONLY and only for York Region residents. 


On-request transit for eligible seniors to vaccination clinics

YRT offers on-request transit service for eligible York Region residents age 65+ (born in 1956 or earlier) to their vaccination appointments. If you require transportation to the closest vaccination clinic from your home, Mobility On-Request (MOR) 65+ can take you there. We will accept bookings up to two days prior to your scheduled appointment. Trips must be made to the closest vaccination clinic from your residence.

To book a trip to your closest vaccination clinic, call 1-866-744-1119. Contact Centre hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that these hours are for vaccination clinic appointments only.

How do I book a trip with Mobility On-Request (MOR) to receive my vaccine at Canada’s Wonderland?

Vaccination appointments at Canada’s Wonderland are drive-thru only, available seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once you have your vaccine appointment booked, give us a call at 1-866-744-1119 to book your trip. MOR will begin accepting trip bookings on Saturday, March 27.

Please note MOR 65+ service is available for seniors age 65+. Trips must be made to the closest vaccination clinic from your residence.

Do I need to exit the MOR vehicle to get the vaccine?
You are not required to leave the vehicle.
How will I receive the vaccine while I am in the MOR vehicle?
Vaccines will be provided through the window of the MOR vehicle. If required, nurses will board the vehicle to administer the vaccine.
Why do I need to wait 15 minutes in the vehicle after receiving the vaccine?

As per the vaccination clinic protocols, all patients are required to wait 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine to ensure you are feeling well.
