Plan your trip ahead of time!
It's not fun if you have to run. Plan your trip before you even leave the house with the YRT iOS and Android applications or our online Trip Planner!
Feeling sick? We're here to help
There are certain places that no one wants to start feeling sick. The bus is one of them. We have staff at YRT stops and terminals ready and to help you if you need them.
Don't stand in the dark
Help us see you when you are waiting for your bus my making yourself visible and standing in a lit area. We don't want to miss you!
Avoid getting splashed
It's easy to get lost in our phones, but it's important to be aware of our surroundings, too! Stand back from the curb while waiting for the bus.
Be seen
Winter is coming. We want to be able to see you, and you want to be seen. Make yourself visible; it will help us both!
Phones down, heads up!
Listening to music, reading the news and scrolling through social media are great ways to enjoy your bus ride, but they're safety hazards in active transportation!
The bus doesn't need a DJ
The YRT Window Seat Playlist is full of great music for your ride home, but not everyone wants to listen to music while they commute. Be considerate of your fellow riders and use headphones if you want to listen to music.
There's no need to push
Take turns when exiting the bus. The driver will happily wait for everyone to get off.
The bus is not a garbage truck
We all have to sit in the same seats and stand on the same bus.
Don't leave your garbage behind for someone else to pick up. Bring it with you when you exit the bus.
Hold on, we're going home
The bus can stop at any moment. If you're not paying attention or holding on, the result can be painful.
Too close for comfort
The bus is a shared space. Be mindful of your surroundings to help ensure everyone enjoys the ride.
