With PRESTO in Google Wallet, you can tap your phone or Wear OS watch to pay for transit!

Metrolinx is making it more convenient to choose transit by offering customers another way to pay their fare by tapping a digital version of the PRESTO card in Google Wallet, on an Android smartphone or Wear OS smartwatch.

This new payment option is now available on York Region Transit (YRT), GO Transit, UP Express, Brampton Transit, Burlington Transit, Durham Region Transit, Hamilton Street Railway, MiWay (in Mississauga), Oakville Transit and TTC.

With PRESTO in Google Wallet, you can experience the convenience of paying for transit using your Android smartphone or Wear OS smartwatch and make changes including loading funds to your card instantly, from anywhere.
