Due to long-term construction at SmartCentres Markham Box Grove Plaza, Route 1 will be adjusted to travel west on Copper Creek Drive, north on Ninth Line, east on Highway 7 and north on Bur Oak Avenue. Stop 6657 will not be serviced.

To address afternoon overcrowding at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School, a partial southbound trip was added to start service at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School at 2:35 p.m. and provide drop-off only. This partial trip will end at stop 6979 on Bathurst Street, south of King Road.

23 - Thornhill Woods (revised schedule)

Beginning November 4, 2019, YRT will provide Mobility On-Request service in Sutton-Pefferlaw.

What is it?

Mobility On-Request North allows travel from an address in the service area to the closest bus stop for Route 50 – Queensway.

How does it work?

  • Book a ride with us during the service hours. Booking is available one hour prior to the start of service.
  • YRT will give you a pick-up time.
  • A YRT-marked vehicle will pick you up and take you directly to your selected address or stop. Rides may be shared with other travellers.

Trips must be from an address to the closest Route 50 stop or vice versa. Trips within 500 metres of the destination will not be eligible.

Service hours:
Monday to Friday

  • 7 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.
