Service changes effective Sunday, November 1

Schedule and route changes will be made to adjust to changing customer demand.

1 - Highway 7

Weekdays:

Weekday frequency will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Morning rush hour from approximately 25 to 29 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 44 to 70 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 25 to 30 minutes

No change to span of service.

2 - Milliken

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Morning rush hour from approximately 18 to 21 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 25 to 30 minutes

Span of service will be adjusted as follows:

Eastbound from Woodbine Avenue/John Street:

  • First trip will depart at 5:11 a.m.

Westbound from Highway 48/Denison Street:

  • First trip will depart at 5:35 a.m.

Westbound partial trip from Highway 48/Denison Street:

  • Last trip will depart at 11:53 p.m.
8 - Kennedy

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 16 to 17 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 14 to 17 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 24 to 35 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 15 to 18 minutes

Span of service will be adjusted as follows:

Northbound from Kennedy Road/Highway 7:

  • First trip will depart at 5:12 a.m.
  • Last trip will depart at 9:37 p.m.

Southbound from Kennedy Road/Major Mackenzie Drive:

  • First trip will depart at 5:30 a.m.
  • Last trip will depart at 10:13 p.m.
9 - 9th Line

Weekdays:

Weekday frequency will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 28 to 43 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 28 to 43 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 42 to 89 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 27 to 43 minutes
  • Evening from approximately 27 to 43 minutes

No change to span of service.

10 - Woodbridge

The following trips connecting with Father Bressani Catholic High School will be discontinued due to low ridership:

  • Eastbound trips departing Woodbridge Ave./Kipling Ave. at 8:02 a.m., 11:08 a.m. and 11:40 a.m.
  • Westbound trips departing SmartVMC Bus Terminal at 8:14 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
12 - Pine Valley

The following trips connecting with Father Bressani Catholic High School will be discontinued due to low ridership:

  • Northbound trip departing Islington Ave./Steeles Ave. at 8:08 a.m.
  • Southbound trips departing Vaughan Mills Terminal at 8:12 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.
16 - 16th Avenue

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 24 to 33 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 24 to 30 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 27 to 30 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 24 to 30 minutes
  • Evening from approximately 34 to 35 minutes
  • Late evening from approximately 29 to 35 minutes

Span of service will be adjusted as follows:

Westbound from Woodbine Avenue/16th Avenue:

  • First trip will depart at 5:06 a.m.

Eastbound from Rutherford Road/Ilan Ramon Boulevard:

  • First trip will depart at 5:38 a.m.

Westbound from Markham Stouffville Hospital:

  • Last trip will depart at 10:45 p.m.
18 - Bur Oak 

Weekdays:

Due to a decrease in ridership, weekday midday service will be replaced by Mobility On-Request Bur Oak operating Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. To book a ride during service hours, call 1-844-667-5327 at least 60 minutes in advance of your trip.

Other route options for weekday midday travel: Routes 1 – Highway 7, 8 – Kennedy, 16 – 16th Avenue, 25 – Major Mackenzie, 68B – Warden, 102D – Markham, 129A – McCowan and Viva purple.

No change to frequency during the morning and afternoon rush hour.

Span of service will be adjusted as follows:

Morning:

Eastbound from Angus Glen Community Centre:

  • Last trip will depart at 8:59 a.m.

Westbound from Markham Stouffville Hospital:

  • Last trip will depart at 9:22 a.m.

Afternoon:

Eastbound from Angus Glen Community Centre:

  • First trip will depart at 2:54 p.m.

Westbound from Markham Stouffville Hospital:

  • First trip will depart at 2:39 p.m.

Saturdays:

Saturday service will be discontinued due to low ridership.

Alternative options: Routes 1 – Highway 7, 8 – Kennedy, 16 – 16th Avenue, 68B – Warden, 102D – Markham 129A – McCowan and Viva purple.

21 - Vellore Local

The following trip connecting with St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School and Tommy Douglas Secondary School will be discontinued due to low ridership:

  • Northbound trip departing Vaughan Mills Terminal at 7:27 a.m.
25 - Major Mackenzie

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 33 to 43 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 33 to 42 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 27 to 33 minutes
  • Early evening from approximately 56 to 58 minutes

Span of service will be adjusted as follows:

Westbound from Major Mackenzie Drive/Woodbine Avenue:

  • First trip will depart at 5:52 a.m.
58 - Mount Albert

The following trips connecting with Huron Heights Secondary School will be discontinued due to low ridership:

  • Southbound trips departing Mount Albert Rd./Don Rose Blvd. at 8:03 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
  • Northbound trip departing 404 Town Centre at 12:15 p.m.
91/91A - Bayview

Route 91

Weekdays:

Weekday frequency will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 28 to 33 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 20 to 26 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 34 to 48 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 20 to 24 minutes
  • Evening from approximately 44 to 46 minutes
  • Late evening from approximately 33 to 39 minutes

Northbound from Finch GO Bus Terminal:

  • First trip will depart at 5:59 a.m.
  • Last trip will depart at 11:43 p.m.

Southbound from Richmond Hill/Bayview Plaza:

  • First trip will depart at 5:22 a.m.
  • Last trip will depart at 11:08 p.m.

Northbound from Bayview Avenue/Taylor Mills Drive:

  • First trip will depart at 5:14 a.m.

Route 91A

Weekdays:

Weekday frequency will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Morning rush hour from approximately 20 to 26 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 34 to 48 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 20 to 24 minutes
  • Evening from approximately 44 to 46 minutes
  • Late evening from approximately 33 to 39 minutes

Northbound from Finch GO Bus Terminal:

  • Last trip will depart at 12:01 a.m.

Southbound from Bayview Avenue/Subrisco Avenue:

  • First trip will depart at 6:27 a.m.
  • Last trip will depart at 11:24 p.m.
99 - Yonge

Weekdays:

Weekday frequency will be adjusted to meet customer demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Early morning from approximately 25 to 35 minutes
  • Morning rush hour from approximately 26 to 32 minutes
  • Midday from approximately 35 to 51 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 23 to 32 minutes
  • Evening from approximately 35 to 36 minutes

No change to span of service.

 NEW Express Route: 305 - Box Grove Express (effective Monday, November 2, 2020)

Route 305 is a new express route connecting the community of Box Grove in the City of Markham to Finch GO Bus Terminal in the City of Toronto.

Service will operate Monday to Friday during morning and afternoon rush hours. As an Express service, Route 305 has limited stops and will travel on Highway 407 to get to Finch GO Bus Terminal, offering an easy connection to the TTC Subway and GO Transit services. YRT Express fares apply.

402 -  Bur Oak/Pierre Elliott Trudeau School Special

Weekdays:

Due to low ridership, the first morning trip (7:23 a.m. from Church Street and Country Glen Road) will be discontinued.

Alternatively, travellers may board the 7:24 a.m. Route 402 trip or Route 18 – Bur Oak.

No change to span of service.

 760 - Vaughan Mills

Weekdays:

Special weekday service will be offered on Friday, November 27 for Black Friday and from December 14 to 18, 2020.

Service will be provided between Finch GO Bus Terminal and Vaughan Mills Terminal, and will coincide with Vaughan Mills Mall’s business hours (please note that mall hours may change in response to COVID-19).

Special weekday service will be provided at a 32 minute frequency to accommodate holiday shopping demand.

Weekends/Holidays:

Effective Monday, November 23, Vaughan Mills Mall will operate extended holiday hours. 

Service will be provided between Finch GO Bus Terminal and Vaughan Mills Terminal, and will coincide with Vaughan Mills Mall’s business hours (please note that mall hours may change in response to COVID-19).

 NEW: Mobility On-Request Bur Oak 

Mobility On-Request Bur Oak is a new stop-to-stop on-request service operating between bus stops on Route 18 – Bur Oak.

This will replace Route 18 weekday midday service and will operate Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Route 18 will operate during weekday rush hours only.

To book a ride during service hours, call 1-844-667-5327 at least 60 minutes in advance of your trip.

NEW: Mobility On-Request King City GO

Mobility On-Request King City GO is a new on-request service that allows you to travel between the King City GO Station and a fixed address within the service area. Service will operate Monday to Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mobility On-Request Mount Albert
Beginning November 2, Mobility On-Request Mount Albert will service 404 Town Centre. See our Mobility On-Request Mount Albert page for complete service information.
NEW: Mobility On-Request Stouffville

Mobility On-Request Stouffville is a new on-request service that allows you to travel between a fixed address and one of five select locations in the service area. The locations include:

  • Walmart Stouffville - Food and Fashion door
  • No Frills
  • Stouffville GO Station
  • Public Library and Leisure Centre
  • East End Corners Plaza

Service will operate Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. To book a ride during service hours, use the Mobility On-Request mobile app or call 1-844-667-5327.

 TTC Route 102D - Markham North (effective November 23, 2020)

Weekdays:

Schedule will be adjusted.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

  • Morning rush hour from approximately 20 to 23 minutes
  • Afternoon rush hour from approximately 21 to 22 minutes
  • Early evening from approximately 36 to 30 minutes
  • Late evening from approximately 36 to 30 minutes

With the start of the school year, all High School Special routes (400 series) are now back in service. In addition, Routes 12, 13, 21, 22, 23, 32, 54 and 165F make connections to select to high schools in York Region. Follow the links below for a list of all routes servicing schools.

Below is a list of service reductions that came into effect on Sunday, April 5, 2020, due to a decrease in ridership as a result of COVID-19. These service changes will remain in effect until further notice.

Viva green (temporarily suspended)

Viva green is temporarily suspended.

Alternative options: Viva purple, Route 24 – Woodbine, Route 90 – Leslie and TTC Route 68B – Warden.

10 - Woodbridge (temporarily suspended)

Route 10 is temporarily suspended.

Alternative option: See Mobility On-Request Woodbridge for service information.

Alternative options prior to 8 a.m.: Viva orange, Routes 7 – Martin Grove, 13 – Islington, 12 – Pine Valley and 165/165F – Weston.

13 - Islington (revised service - high school connections available)

21 - Vellore Local (temporarily suspended - high school connections only)

22 - King City (temporarily suspended - high school connections only)
