Getting to the Honda Indy is easy with YRT. We’ll provide more frequent service on select routes during the event to help you get there. Plan your trip in advance and review service updates and detour information before you travel.

When: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 9 p.m. to end of Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The route may resume regular routing before August 19, pending weather conditions and event teardown activities.
Route 522 – Markham Local will end and begin at Unionville Commons, located on Highway 7 East near Main Street Unionville. Service south of Highway 7 will be unavailable. Riders may transfer to Route 8 - Kennedy to travel to Tony Wong Place and Hagerman’s Corners.

Detour:Northbound buses will detour onto westbound 14th Avenue, right onto northbound Birchmount Road, right onto eastbound Highway 7 and back to regular routing on northbound Kennedy Road.

When: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 9 p.m. to end of Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The route may resume regular routing before August 19, pending weather conditions and event teardown activities.
Viva purple A will not operate on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16. Customers can travel on Viva purple along Highway 7 or Route 8 - Kennedy along Birchmount Road.
