13 - Islington

When: Monday, August 31, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Where: Islington Avenue, between Nashville Road and Highway 27

Reason: Paving

Routes affected: 13 - Islington

Detour: Northbound and Southbound

Buses will turn left on Nashville Road, left on southbound Highway 27, left on eastbound Major Mackenzie Drive West and back to regular routing on southbound Islington Avenue.

Stops 3359, 5309, 3361, 3363, 3365, 3367 and 3369 will not be serviced.

When: Saturday, September 5, 2026, to December 2026

Where: High Street between Burke Street to West Street, and between Dalton Road to River Street

Event: High Street Construction Project, Town of Georgina

Routes affected: 50 - Queensway

Detour: Northbound

Buses will detour on eastbound Black River Road, right on southbound Queen Street and through St James Street, Fairpark Lane and Hawkins Street. Buses will continue on southbound Smockum Boulevard and northbound trips will end at the temporary stop...

Routes 2, 5, 77, 88, 91, 99, 360 and Viva blue/blue B

When: Saturday, September 19, 2026, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Where: Yonge Street, from Cummer Avenue to Finch GO Bus Terminal

Event: RBC Race for the Kids

Routes affected (southbound only): 2 – Milliken, 5 – Clark, 77– Highway 7, 88 – Bathurst, 91 – Bayview, 99 – Yonge, 360 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland and Viva blue/B

Detour:

Viva blue/blue B southbound trips will detour via Steeles Avenue, Willowdale Avenue and enter Finch GO Bus Terminal from Bishop Avenue. Stop 9817 will be missed.

Where: Unionville Commons, 4310 Highway 7 East, City of Markham

Why: Road construction (paving work)

Detour:

Buses will travel west on Highway 7, passing Main Street Unionville, right on northbound Eureka Street, right on eastbound Euclid Street, right on southbound Main Street Unionville, and back to regular routing.
