When: Monday, June 29, to Monday, August 31, 2026

Where: Richmond Green Secondary School parking lot

Why: Construction

Routes affected: 82 – Valleymede and 83A – Trench

Detour: Routes 82 and 83A northbound:

Northbound buses will travel north on Leslie Street, right onto John Birchall Road and will continue on westbound Elgin Mills Road to stop 1093. 

Stop 4630 will be missed.

Southbound trips will begin at stop 1093, on Elgin Mills Road, west of Leslie Street.

Stops 4630, 7114, and 4931 will be missed.

52 - Holland Landing, 425 - Huron Heights School Special

When: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 to Friday, August 28, 2026 (extended)

Where: Queen Street at Yonge Street, Town of East Gwillimbury

Why: Construction (Yonge Street Revitalization Project)

Routes affected: Route 52 – Holland Landing (southbound), Route 425 – Huron Heights School Special (morning trip)

Detour:

Buses travelling south on Toll Road will turn right on westbound Bradford Street, left on southbound Holland Landing Road, left on northbound Yonge Street, right on eastbound Mount Albert Road, and back...

85 - Rutherford

When: Thursday, November 27, 2025, until fall 2026

Where: Rutherford Road, over the CN Rail tracks

Why: Construction related to York Region’s Rutherford Road Improvements; expected completion in fall 2026.

Routes affected: Route 85 - Rutherford

Rutherford Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Creditstone Road/Melville Avenue and Greenock Drive to accommodate work on the rail bridge.

When: August 11, 2025, until construction is complete

Where: Bayview Avenue and Steeles Avenue East

Why: Construction

Routes affected: Route 91 - Bayview - Southbound

Detour:

Route 91 will detour on Proctor Avenue, southbound Henderson Avenue and back to regular routing on westbound Steeles Avenue East.

Stops 5234, 2889, 3577, 3579 and 3581 will be missed.

Alternate stops:

• Stop 2888 on Bayview Avenue at Proctor Avenue
• Stop 3583 on Steeles Avenue East west of Henderson Avenue

Reason: Storm sewer construction

Routes affected: 522 - Markham Local

Detour - Route 522 Westbound: Buses will travel south on Ninth Line, passing Church Street, right onto westbound Highway 7, right onto northbound Markham Road and back to regular routing on Robinson Street.  Stops 4723, 5590 and 5326 will not be serviced. Alternative stops:
