Theatre AuroraLocation:150 Henderson Drive, Aurora Description:Theatre Aurora is a key performance venue within the town. They provide affordable, high quality, diverse and relevant theatre that engages the community both as audience and as creator. They are volunteer run and operated. Aurora Community ArboretumLocation:100+ acres east of Industrial Pkwy N, between St. John's Sideroad and Wellington St. E. Description:The Aurora Community Arboretum is 100+ acres in size within the Town of Aurora parkland between Wellington Street to the south and St John’s Sideroad to the north along the valley of the East Holland River. Aurora Historical Society and Hillary House National Historic SiteLocation:15372 Yonge Street, Aurora Description:Built in 1862, Hillary House is recognized by the National Historic Sites and Monuments Board as one of Canada’s best examples of Gothic Revival architecture. It contains a significant collection of medical instruments, books, papers, household furnishings, and equipment dating from the early nineteenth to the late twentieth century and is open to the public as Hillary House, the Koffler Museum of Medicine. Aurora Town Square
Location:50 Victoria Street, Aurora Description:This facility offers a variety of amenities and activities, including arts and culture events, entertainment, shopping, and dining. Town of East Gwillimbury |
Nokiidaa Trail(also accessible in Aurora and Newmarket) Location:The Nokiidaa Trail system extends through Aurora, Newmarket and East Gwillimbury. The trail follows the Holland River and connects with East Gwillimbury in the north and Aurora in the south. Description:The Nokiidaa Trail in East Gwillimbury follows the Holland River through the Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area, an 84-hectare area situated along the banks of the East Holland River. Sharon Temple National Historic Site and MuseumLocation:18974 Leslie Street, Sharon Description:The Sharon Temple was constructed by the Children of Peace, an Upper Canada Quaker sect from 1825 to 1831. The Temple is an architectural symbol of their vision of a society based on the values of peace, equality and social justice. Recreational Outdoor Campus (ROC)Location:26479 Civic Centre Road, Keswick Description:YRT offers seasonal service to the ROC in the winter. The three-lane snow tube hill, complete with a carpet lift offers thrills for all ages. Enjoy the toboggan hill or test your skiing/snowboarding skills on the ramps, rails, bumps and jumps in the Terrain Park. Travellers with a season pass can ride YRT for free to the ROC. Latcham Art CentreLocation:2 Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville Description:The Latcham Art Centre is a community art gallery and member of the Ontario Association of Art Galleries. City of Toronto |
Travelling to the City of Toronto is easy with YRT. YRT services six subway stations where you can connect to the TTC subway to travel to Toronto. TTC fare is required on the subway. You can also take YRT to a GO Station and take GO Transit to Toronto. Ride for GO for free on YRT with a PRESTO card.

Bike 'n' Ride
YRT makes it easy for you to commute with your bike and take the bus to get to your destination.
All our buses are equipped with two bicycle racks and are designed for easy loading and unloading. You pay regular fare but your bike rides for free.
You can also lock up your bike at one of over 390 YRT bicycle racks at more than 100 locations across York Region. Each rack has room for two bicycles.
