The Health and Active Living Plaza (HALP) is opening on October 17, 2025, in the Town of East Gwillimbury and YRT can take you there!
There are multiple transit options to get to the HALP:
- Route 50 – Queensway: Now servicing the HALP
- On-Request North-Central: YRT’s on-demand, ride-sharing service
- On-Request 65+: For seniors traveling within 5 kilometres of their home
- Mobility On-Request Paratransit: York Region’s door-to-door, shared ride, accessible public transit service for people with disabilities

How to pay:
Discounted fares are offered through the PRESTO card and the PRESTO E-Tickets app. YRT transfers are valid for two hours of unlimited travel on any route. Visit our Fare Chart page for complete fare information.
