When the June 11, 2022, provincial mask mandate is lifted, wearing a mask is still strongly recommended on all public transit services.
Travelling on Mobility On-Request (MOR) services:
Our top priority is to keep all drivers and travellers safe. Due to the close proximity to the driver and other passengers when in a MOR vehicle, masks will continue to be mandatory when using all MOR services.

Effective Thursday, August 11, 2022, customers travelling on Brampton, MiWay, Oakville and GO Transit will be able to pay their fare using credit card (PRESTO contactless payment).
Please note: YRT does not currently accept PRESTO contactless payment through credit card.

The City of Vaughan is partnering with York Region Transit (YRT) and Metrolinx to bring Vaughan commuters the Mobility On-Request Maple-Rutherford GO Pilot Project which will help commuters get a ride to and from these two GO stations.
