You can now add your PRESTO card to Apple Wallet

With PRESTO in Apple Wallet, you can tap to ride using your iPhone or Apple Watch!
Metrolinx is making it more convenient to choose transit by offering customers another way to pay their fare by tapping a digital version of the PRESTO card in Apple Wallet, on an iPhone or Apple Watch.

Improved On-Request service available in your area

On-Request is a ride-sharing service that allows you to request transit when and where you need it, within select service areas.
On-Request now offers more travel options within our expanded service areas where York Region Transit (YRT) routes are not available. If a route is available, On-Request will drop you off at the nearest bus stop so you can seamlessly continue your trip.
You can now travel to/from any address if a YRT route is not available for the following services:

Book a round trip between your home or any address and a preselected location in your service area using the new YRT On-Request App, available on the App Store and Google Play.
With a few taps, book an On-Request ride in the app and our technology will secure your trip and York Region Transit (YRT) vehicle.

The survey happens twice a year and is used to get feedback from riders on YRT’s services. The survey data will help us understand your use of YRT’s services and measure your satisfaction, so we can make improvements to serve you better.

Mobility On-Request Paratransit is updating their ride booking system

Mobility On-Request (MOR) Paratransit will be updating their ride booking system from March 15 to 22, 2025. During this period, the Automated Phone Line (IVR), YRT Ride OnDemand app and Ride On-Demand Booking System will be unavailable. To schedule a trip during this time, please call 1-866-744-1119.
As part of the update, you will receive a new Rider Identification (ID) number. Your new ID number is included in the Spring edition of the MOR Newsletter which you should receive by the end of March...
